Steve founded Enlighten in 1983 with a vision of how technology could be coupled with imaginative content and incisive marketing to improve the way businesses communicate. Since then, he has focused on the strategic development of interactive solutions that deliver efficient yet engaging user experiences–solutions that reflect his own uncommon blend of technical and aesthetic sophistication. Over the years, Steve has successfully guided the strategic direction of numerous Fortune 1000 firms and smaller emerging companies in the ever-evolving digital arena. A board member of SoDA (Society of Digital Agencies), Steve holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
With over a decade of experience managing digital marketing and large-scale consulting engagements, Tom brings a seasoned perspective to his role as President. He directs every facet of Enlighten’s growth strategy and plays an active role in expanding our reputation as one of the nation’s leading digital agencies. In this capacity, he directs Enlighten’s day-to-day operations with a focus on driving innovation and portfolio growth. On the client side, Tom oversees major accounts, advising clients on how market dynamics, consumer trends, and digital media continue to shape their businesses. Tom holds a BA in English from Indiana University.
James Todd (“JT”) Anderson brings to his role of VP Executive Creative Director a wealth of experience in creative leadership, brand marketing, and website development. As head of Enlighten’s User Experience Group, which encompasses Creative, Design, and Information Architecture, JT applies his top-tier client experience with digital production, online advertising, and copywriting to carry on Enlighten’s legacy of integrated campaign development. JT previously had leadership positions at Leo Burnett/Publicis shops that include Arc Worldwide, iLeo, and chemistry. He has worked with such clients as McDonald’s, Hallmark, Diageo, BlackBerry, P&G, Kellogg’s, and Cadillac, and he received his BA in Film and Marketing from Columbia College in Chicago.
Satish is responsible for leading Enlighten’s technical direction and strategy, including the development and delivery of all technology services. A 15-year industry veteran, Satish has led large teams in implementing technical projects for Global 2000 companies. He is an expert in application design and development, well-versed with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Customer Relationship Management, and Content Management Systems (CMS), and brings vast industry experience in the financial, health, energy, manufacturing and automotive verticals. Prior to joining Enlighten, Satish was a Managing Consultant with Headstrong, an International consultancy firm.
Denise has over 20 years of experience in project management across multiple industries, with over eight years in the interactive field. Proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at managing large teams in multi-process efforts with multiple vendors, she has coordinated and facilitated some of Enlighten’s most complex and demanding engagements, including the launch of the award-winning Hunter Douglas website. Prior to joining Enlighten, she was Director of an ERP practice for a consulting firm, coordinating and facilitating the management of sales, project, and staff on projects throughout the Midwest. As a consultant, she managed several multi-million dollar ERP implementations and directed a major social services initiative for the City of New York’s HR Division. Denise received her BA in Accounting Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University.
Courtney directs the development and execution of all digital media programs, including display media, mobile marketing, production integration, and online video. With over a decade of experience in advertising—nine of those years in the digital field—Courtney is adept at finding placements that reflect a brand’s personality while strategically targeting its consumer base and generating further brand awareness. Before arriving at Enlighten, she worked at J Walter Thompson and Doner, with clients such as Ford Division, Lazy-boy, and Furniture Galleries. At Enlighten, she has planned digital programs for John Frieda Hair Care, Bioré Skincare, and Curél Skincare. Courtney graduated from Hillsdale College with a BA in Business Administration.
Brad brings considerable experience to his role as Director of Social Marketing, having coordinated social marketing, digital, and branding efforts at agencies such as Leo Burnett, Doner, JWT, and Wunderman on accounts as diverse as Pepsi, Ford, Verizon, GM, Procter & Gamble, the Detroit Pistons, and Cadillac. At Enlighten, Brad is responsible for developing customized social marketing strategies and fully integrated campaign solutions. He identifies avenues for Enlighten’s clients to optimize their engagement in the increasingly popular and ever-evolving social media landscape. Beyond leading the Social Marketing efforts for Enlighten, Brad has also applied his passion for writing to his work as a novelist and screenwriter. Brad received his BA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
