We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team of account leaders. At Enlighten, the Account Director (AD) serves as the primary client interface on major accounts and drives the strategic planning process for all development projects and interactive marketing campaigns. Along with this responsibility, the position offers significant autonomy, leadership and growth opportunities. Key functions include:
- Account Management – As the account lead, the AD is responsible for managing every facet of the client relationship as well as strategic planning, portfolio integration, and successful delivery across multiple Web development initiatives and online ad campaigns.
- Strategic Oversight – The AD develops key planning deliverables and provides strategic direction to Enlighten’s cross-functional development and interactive marketing teams. The AD also monitors the overall quality of production and ensures that strategic intent is realized across all client initiatives.
- Performance Management – The AD is responsible for overall account performance and works closely with the client to track and assess project timelines, budgets, and project success from strategy through deployment.
- Business Development – In addition to expanding existing client relationships, the AD provides strategic and team leadership on occasion for other new business pursuits.
Applicants should be passionate and knowledgeable on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies with 5+ years of relevant digital agency experience. A focus on account management and strategic planning for clients is required, and deep expertise in one of our core industry segments is a major plus – healthcare, financial services or CPG. A strong business background is necessary, as well as a keen understanding of Internet development and interactive marketing. Individuals must possess excellent leadership and relationship building skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
